The one-woman show EVERYTHING IS FINE UNTIL IT'S NOT that took the New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) by storm and features one New Jersey mother's true life experience with her autistic son, returns to New York City as part of the United Solo Theatre Festival and has already sold out the first three performances.

HARLEM WEEK 2017 Celebrates New York's Diversity

One of New York's most enduring and highly attended summer activities is the HARLEM WEEK Festival. HARLEM WEEK, which started as a one day event in 1974 has grown to a month-long celebration of the most famous community in the world. As HARLEM WEEK celebrates it's 43rd Anniversary in 2017 the focus will be celebrating the mosaic of Harlem and all of New York.

Third Street Music School Settlement Awards the New York Community Trust Harris Scholarship

Third Street Music School Settlement will be presenting three students graduating this June as recipients of the New York Community Trust Harris Scholarship.  This year's scholars, Emma Peleg, 17, Hale Sheffield, 17, and Jennifer Loo, 17, will each receive $25,000 over four years towards their college expenses.  Entering college in fall 2017, the scholars have been accepted to schools such as Yale University, Princeton University, Duke University, SUNY Stony Brook, Binghamton University, The New School, New York University, CUNY Hunter, CUNY Baruch, Oberlin College, and Northeastern University.

Carnegie Hall today announced the all-star lineup for A Night of Inspiration, an evening of spiritually uplifting music on Today, December 6 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. Under the direction of multi-faceted producer, composer, and music director Ray Chew, the special guest artists will include Yolanda Adams, Dionne Warwick, Shirley Caesar, Donnie McClurkin, Richard Smallwood, Cantor Azi Schwartz, and singers from the New Faith Church from Cape Town, South Africa. Additional guest artists are to be announced. This show is being presented in partnership with Chew Entertainment – a full service production company owned by Ray and Vivian Chew.

Following the success of last season's new DEMO series, Damian Woetzel continues to unite artists from across fields around a common theme in a performance on October 10, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater. This installment of the multi-genre series brings together acclaimed artists for a special one-night performance to celebrate their heroes and artistic inspirations. The cast of Heroes features soprano Jacqueline Bolier, singer/songwriter Kate Davis, Broadway and New York City Ballet star Robert Fairchild, tap dance powerhouse Jared Grimes, acclaimed ballerina Carla Korbes, visual art curator, author, and historian Sarah Lewis, Memphis jookin' dance pioneer Lil Buck (last seen as part of DEMO: Place), the MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band, and jazz prodigy Matthew Whitaker.
