Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for the Texas-sized, Tony Award-winning new play, ALL THE WAY, a unique co-production with Dallas Theater Center (DTC). Directed by DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty, ALL THE WAY brings company members from two of the largest Texas resident theaters to collaborate and perform on stage, beginning with the Houston premiere in the Alley's newly renovated Hubbard Theatre January 29-February 21, 2016.

The Dallas Theater Center Board of Trustees announced today the appointment of Jeffrey Woodward as managing director of the 56-year-old organization. Woodward's experience includes Syracuse Stage and 17 years at McCarter Theatre Center. The appointment follows the departure of Heather M. Kitchen, who announced her retirement in September 2014. Woodward will formally assume his post in mid-July.

Peugh. Colossal begins with previews tonight, April 2 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, May 3.

Dallas Theater Center announced today Megan Hilty and Seth Rudetsky will headline Centerstage 2015 on Saturday, May 9. Chaired by Yvette Ostolaza, with Underwriting Chair Kersten Rettig and Honorary Chair Jeanne Marie Clossey, Centerstage 2015 will take place at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, which will be transformed for the evening.

ReGroup's FOLLIES OF GOD Benefit and Book Launch for James Grissom's forthcoming book, 'Follies of God: Tennessee Williams and the Women of the Fog' was held February 23, 2015 at TBG Mainstage Theatre. Following a successful run last August, ReGroup announces the limited encore run of Preston Jones' Lu Ann Hampton Laverty Oberlander. This standalone play, part on Jones' A TEXAS TRILOGY is a rare and important piece of American Theatre.

In celebration of the upcoming release of James Grissom's long awaited book Follies of God, and as the 2nd event in the 'ReGroup Reads' series, The ReGroup presents a one-night-only benefit reading of select Williams' rare short plays. Guest artists Lois Smith and Kathleen Chalfant are scheduled to join the ReGroup members in the readings.

As part of the Alley Theatre's inaugural season in its renovated downtown building, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan's All The Way, a co-production with Dallas Theatre Center, will be performed in the new Hubbard Theatre. Members of the Alley's Resident Company will join with members of the Dallas Theater Center to create this monumental play about Lyndon B. Johnson's early days in office, rehearsing and performing in Houston in January 2016 and travelling to Dallas for a second run in March 2016.

There has always been something threatening to kill the theatre. Long before 49 producers were needed to mount a show, reality stars hit the boards, or 42nd Street became Disney-fied... Their 1938 'valentine' to the theatre's resilience is the first reading in ReGroup Theatre's new monthly series 'ReGroup Reads: The Greatest American Playwrights.'

Dallas Theater Center heads back to the Kalita Humphreys Theater with The Book Club Play by Karen Zacarias. Meredith McDonough, who previously worked on the new hit musical Fly By Night, returns to make her DTC directorial debut in this comedy about books and the people who love them. The Book Club Play begins previews tonight, January 1, 2015 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, February 1.
