by Jamie McGonnigal
- Jan 29, 2015
Mary Todd Lincoln, the wife of President Abraham Lincoln, is the subject of a new play which premieres this month, marking 150 years since the President's assassination. If you're in the mood for an outrageous good time, you can't do better than to squeeze into Fort Fringe and witness Bradley Foster Smith's break-out performance as a talented, sexy usurper. Director Patrick Pearson has given this new show a great launch, complete with a kick-ass backup band and a solid ensemble. WSC Avant Bard should be up to their necks in groupies before Nero/Pseudo's run is over.

by Shari Barrett
- Apr 1, 2013
THE TROUBLE WITH WORDS is a song cycle that explores the relationship people have with words, as well as with each other, as they struggle to connect. I strongly encourage every musical theatre aficionado in Los Angeles to see this show as I cannot offer enough praise for the entire production.
