According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the newly reestablished Devon Theatre in Philadelphia has been forced to cancel their inaugural season after having lost funding from the state. Their current production of JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT will end its run December 13th. The theater, currently overseen by the Mayfair Community Development Corporation, completed productions of Nunsense, The Odd Couple, and Little Shop of Horrors as season openers this year.

E! Online News reports that while attending the Wonderful World premiere Monday during the Tribeca Film Festival, Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed to E! News that Mr. Big, stage and screen star Chris Noth has signed on for 'Sex and the City 2'.

Variety reports that Warner Bros. and New Line will release 'Sex and the City 2' in theaters on May 28, 2010.

Transport Group will present Marcy in the Galaxy, a world premiere musical, with book, music, and lyrics by Nancy Shayne, based on a story by Ms. Shayne and Michael Patrick King, and directed by artistic director Jack Cummings III beginning performances Friday, March 28. The opening has been scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 3PM.
