This December, Lincoln Center presents a plethora of music, dance, theater, and panel events across the campus and beyond. After celebrating their 10th anniversary last month, the David Rubenstein Atrium continues to offer free programming consisting of diverse live performances, screenings, and panel conversations. The 2019-20 season of LC Kids (October 5-June 7, 2020) is in full swing with free and ticketed events developed for toddlers, children, and teenagers stepping into young adulthood. The ongoing Great Performers series (October 29-May 16, 2020) continues with a Lincoln Center debut for a Sunday Morning Coffee Concert.

Park Square Theatre announces a special one-week only presentation of PAIGE IN FULL by Paige Hernandez on the Boss Stage (Friday, Oct 25 a?" Sunday, Oct 27). This unique experience blends poetry, dance, media and music to share a multicultural girl's journey through hip-hop to self-discovery. Since its premiere in 2010, this a?oevisual mix-tapea?? has sold out performances throughout the country and garnered praise from critics and audiences alike for its energy, intelligence, and originality.  In addition to just three public performances, the show will play to schools at special weekday matinees.

Olney Theatre Center and 1st Stage's co-production of The Royale by Marco Ramirez and directed by Paige Hernandez begins its delayed run on Wednesday, October 2 at 1:45pm. The original first week of performances were cancelled when the actor had to withdraw for medical reasons just prior to the first scheduled performance.

Olney Theatre Center and 1st Stage combine forces to co-produce the first show of the 2019 - 20 Season in the Olney Theatre's Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab: The Royale by Marco Ramirez, directed and choreographed by Paige Hernandez. Inspired by the story of Jack Johnson, the first black heavyweight champion boxer, the New York Times praised Ramirez's play that a?oeboldly takes on and reorients a familiar genre and a familiar tale.a?? The area premiere runs at Olney Theatre Center September 25 - October 27, 2019 with Invited Press Night on Saturday, September 28 at 7:45pm. The production, with the same actors and set, moves to 1st Stage for a run January 30 - February 23, 2020
