Olivier award winners Nigel Harman and David Bedella are today announced to take leading roles in this year's glittering S&S Award Gala at St James Theatre on Sunday 23 November.

The UK and Ireland tour of SHREK THE MUSICAL® premiered Wednesday 30 July at the Grand Theatre in Leeds then launches in Bristol, Nottingham, Belfast, Dublin, Oxford, Manchester, Aberdeen, Canterbury, Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Norwich, Southampton, Plymouth and Milton Keynes with further venues still to be announced. A few months ago, it was announed that Joanna Froggatt, known for her role as DOWNTON ABBEY maid 'Anna,' would star as 'Becca' in the London premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's RABBIT HOLE. The play was set to begin previews at the Vaudeville Theatre on September 11. But recently, The Stage reported that this date has been postponed due to 'scheduling issues.' Producers Creative Management and Productions, James Quaife Productions, and Celia Atkin released a statement saying 'Our production of Rabbit Hole will be postponed from the planned September opening at the Vaudeville Theatre as due to a late shift in schedules, it is unable to go ahead at this time.'

Coming direct from London, where it was seen live on stage by nearly a million people, the UK and Ireland tour of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane production of SHREK THE MUSICAL® will star Dean Chisnall as beloved swamp-dwelling ogre 'Shrek', the role he previously played in the West End, Faye Brookes as damsel in distress 'Princess Fiona', Idriss Kargbo as Shrek's wisecracking sidekick 'Donkey' and Gerard Carey as pint-sized villain 'Lord Farquaad'.

Birmingham Hippodrome has announced that tickets are now on sale to Birmingham Hippodrome Friends for the award winning Theatre Royal Drury Lane production of SHREK THE MUSICAL at Birmingham Hippodrome Tuesday 31 March - Sunday 26 April 2015. Tickets go on sale to Group Bookers Monday 12 May and on general sale over the phone, counter and online on Wednesday 14 May at 10am.
