After critically acclaimed and sold out engagements at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and at the Aldwych Theatre in London, the theatrical event Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 will arrive on Broadway the first day of spring, Friday, March 20th, 2015, and thus officially usher in the spring season.

Producers of SHREK THE MUSICAL today announced that the larger-than-life production will coming to the King's Theatre on 29 April Sunday 17 May 2015, direct from London, where it was seen live on stage by nearly a million people. SHREK THE MUSICAL will be directing by Nigel Harman who starred as Lord Farquaad in the west end production, winning him the 2012 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical.

The hit musical WICKED, at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre, has set a new all-time record for a single week's gross in the West End. For the week 26-30 December 2006, WICKED grossed a record-breaking £873,020. WICKED was the West End's top-selling show during Christmas week and also set a new Box Office record at the Apollo Victoria for the third time:

Idina Menzel gave her final performance as the unusually green witch, Elphaba, in the London production of the hit musical Wicked on the 30th December at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Her three-month contract, which paid a record-breaking $30,000 per week, is now over and Kerry Ellis takes over the role from 1st January 2007.

West End Wicked Breaks UK Box Office Records

WICKED, the untold story of the Witches of Oz, went on sale to the general public yesterday (Sunday 5 March) at 9am and sold a record-breaking £100,000 of tickets in the first hour alone. Ticket buyers braved freezing temperatures and started queuing at the Box Office from 6.30am. The total advance now stands at over £1,700,000.
