MJ is the new Broadway musical that takes audiences inside the creative process of one of the greatest entertainers in history.

Tonight's the night! Inspired by the life and art of Michael Jackson, MJ officially opens on Broadway tonight, February 1, 2022 at the newly refurbished Neil Simon Theatre (250 W 52nd Street).

Last night, the Broadway community was invited to an advance screening of Steven Spielberg's new West Side Story film adaptation. The screening was hosted by members of the cast and creative team including Kevin McCollum, Brian d’Arcy James, Tony Kushner, Jeanine Tesori, Paul Tazewell and Justin Peck. Just yesterday, 106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park returned this for a one-day-only event! Hosted by 106.7 LITE FM's Cubby & Christine, from the Cubby & Christine Morning Show, this year's annual presentation of open-air lunch hour performances was presented by Mercedes-Benz and Orgain.

In MJ, “Young Michael” appears at age 10 and should have an unchanged singing voice. Performers may be older or younger to audition, as long as they are still able to sing in Young Michael's range.

MJ Director and Tony Award-winning Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon is introducing a unique part of his creative team – Rich + Tone Talauega, who will focus particularly on Michael Jackson movement.
