Chicago Fire's Monica Raymund of Sisu Theatrical Productions, LLC, Jacob Harvey of Cave 76 Productions, LLC and Jordi Coats present a cabaret-style concert of VOLLEYGIRLS, which will include tunes from the breakout hit from the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival, as well as, revisit some old fan favorites from earlier incarnations. The concert, hosted by Susan Blackwell ([title of show]), will benefit the It Gets Better Project at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street), Broadways premier Supper Club on Wednesday, July 30th at 9:30pm. The Imagen Foundation has announced the nominees for the 29th Annual Imagen (Spanish for “image”) Awards, honoring portrayals of Latinos and Latino cultures in television and film. The awards will be presented at a gala black-tie dinner on Friday evening, August 1st, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel International Ballroom.

THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN will play its final performance at Broadway's Booth Theatre on Sunday, May 4, 2014, having played 22 preview and 16 regular performances. Starring Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons and two-time Tony Award winner Stephen Spinella, THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN began performances on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 and opened Monday, April 21, 2014, following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run at Washington DC's Arena Stage in the fall of 2013.

NBC has announced it is renewing dramas 'Chicago Fire,' 'Chicago P.D.' and 'Grimm' for the 2014-15 season. The network previously picked up 'The Blacklist' (season 2) 'Parks and Recreation' (season 7), 'The Voice' (season 7) and 'Celebrity Apprentice' (season 14). NBC is winning the season in adults 18-49, and ranked #1 for the first time in 10 years this late in the season. The network is up 20% versus one year ago, with its highest rating 25 weeks into the season in six years.

VOLLEYGIRLS, the breakout hit from the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), adds The New World Stages Development Prize Award to their list of accomplishments. VOLLEYGIRLS, produced by NYMF, MONICA RAYMUND of SISU THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS, and JACOB HARVEY of CAVE 76 PRODUCTIONS, performed to sold-out houses for nine performances in the 10th Anniversary Season of NYMF at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street, NY, NY 10036) in July.
