The Broadway Green Alliance has announced the launch of a new virtual learning program in light of the COVID-19 pandemic that has shutdown Broadway and closed theatres across the country. The BGA will host weekly virtual sessions covering a wide range of green topics, hosted by members of the theatre and environmental community.

The Off-Broadway Chapter of the Broadway Green Alliance is presenting its fifth annual Town Hall - a?oeGreening 101: Back to Green Basicsa??. The event is open to anyone in the community.

The Broadway Green Alliance (BGA) is pleased to announce that Molly Braverman has been named the new Director of the Broadway Green Alliance. Ms. Braverman will be taking over the role previously held by Emily Harrington.

The new rock musical, We Are Ameena, will hold an invitation-only, developmental reading, March 28th & 29th, that features award winning actor of stage and screen Harsh Nayyar (A Meeting by the River, An Ordinary Muslim, Gandhi, Hidalgo), alongside Aladdin's Trent Saunders, Stephanie Gibson (Cinderella, Charlie and the Chocolate Factor, The Adams Family), Samantha Gershman (Jekyll & Hyde tour), and Victor Verhaeghe (Boardwalk Empire).

Due to overwhelming popular demand, Norristown's Theatre Horizon has added an extra performance of the brand new version of Tim Acito's off-Broadway hit musical Zanna, Don't.

Everything old is new again, and leave it to Tim Acito, writer of the 2003 off-Broadway hit Zanna, Don't, to prove that adage. The composer will premiere a brand new version of his beloved musical, appropriately called Zanna Don't (the Reboot), at Theatre Horizon for a one-night-only concert reading, part of the company's 42nd and Main Concert Series tonight, June 29, 2017 at 7:30PM.

Last Summer, Theatre Horizon began a new Summer Concert Series called 42nd and Main. Each year, Theatre Horizon brings together Philadelphia and Broadway stars for a one-night only concert reading. This year, the theatre brings audiences Alex Timbers' raucous musical about America's First Political Populist President, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Thursday, August 4 at 7:30 p.m. Along with this extremely relevant musical, Theatre Horizon is introducing an innovative ticketing system for this event. On Monday, SEPTEMBER 24, the National Touring Company of WICKED hosted "THE WICKED ROCKY HORROR SHOW", a staged concert performance of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show - Book, music & lyrics by Richard O'Brien. Held at The New Tropicana Las Vegas Historic Showroom, the event featured the company of WICKED. The net proceeds of this event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Las Vegas's Golden Rainbow. Check out photos of the event, and featured on BC/EFA's Facebook page, below!

Lorraine Rodriguez-Reyes, in association with the East 3rd Productions, will present a staged reading of Daniel Mitura's THE GENIUS! on Monday, December 19 at 8:00pm at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).
