'Leapin' Lizards!' Atlanta Lyric Theatre, the metro area's only professional musical theatre company, presents one of the best-loved family musicals of all time--ANNIE, April 4 - 20, 2014 at The Jennie T. Anderson Theatre (548 S. Marietta Pkwy., Marietta).

Artistic Director Peter Boal has announced to subscribers the line-up for Pacific Northwest Ballet's 2014-2015 season. Highlights include a program devoted to the work of acclaimed choreographer William Forsythe; the return of popular works by George Balanchine, Alexei Ratmansky, David Dawson, and Nacho Duato; a world premiere by New York City Ballet's Justin Peck, a PNB premiere by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa; and a fond farewell to the Northwest's favorite holiday tradition, Kent Stowell and Maurice Sendak's Nutcracker. (PNB will unveil a new production of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker with sets and costumes by Ian Falconer in 2015.)

Directors Lab West Steering Committee is pleased to announce the dates for the fifteenth annual Directors Lab West. The 2014 Lab will take place May 17-24th in residence at the Pasadena Playhouse. The Lab will continue its tradition of bringing together dedicated theatre directors, choreographers and master artists for a week of intense discussions and exploration of the art form.

McCarter Theatre Center's production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol has become a much loved holiday treat for families across the region. This heartwarming and powerfully honest adaptation by David Thompson of Dickens' classic novel is a wonderful way to honor tradition while experience the joy and warmth of a holiday favorite. Performances begin today, Saturday, August 10 (3:45 pm) and continue through Thursday, August 22 (7:00 pm).
