Things are heating up for the inaugural Emerge Film Festival, opening on June 13! The Festival board of directors has released the final film schedule, including more than 40 short, documentary and feature films from Maine, the U.S. and the world. On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, The Timing of a Day opened its run at Center Stage, NY before a capacity crowd at its Benefit Gala Performance. On Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 at 8 PM, The Timing of a Day, which had a critically acclaimed engagement at the recent NY International Fringe Festival, will hold a Benefit Performance and Gala in celebration of its 2011 Off-Off-Broadway extension at Center Stage, NY.

The Timing of a Day, the award-winning 2010 Fringe Festival production written by Owen Panettieri and directed by Joey Brenneman, will be presented by Mind The Art Entertainment in association with Intimation Productions at Center Stage NY for 18-performances engagement from March 30 through April 17 2011. The cast includes (in alphabetical order): Justin Anselmi, Miguel Govea, Nik Kourtis and R. Elizabeth Woodard. All, except Govea, were in the Fringe production.

Youngblood (will present Thicker Than Water 2008, the ninth collection of new plays by members of Youngblood. Performances begin on Sunday February 3rd, and continue through Saturday, March 1st at E.S.T. (549 West 52nd Street). This year's Youngblood series presents one-act plays and musicals all having their world premiere.

Columbia Stages presents A Flea In Her Ear by Georges Feydeau, translated by Heather Denyer and Nadia Foskolou, directed by Nadia Foskolou. Performances are October 17 - 19 at 8PM and October 20 at 2PM & 8PM.
