The Entertainment and Performing Arts Industry Conference (EPIC) features a stellar line up of Broadway luminaries alongside industry leaders from around the world. As the center of the theatrical universe, it’s natural and necessary that Broadway is well represented! EPIC presenters have won so many Tony’s and other Awards, it’s rare to get this many award winners in one place except the Tony’s themselves.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director), recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn, based on the film from Universal Pictures, with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, and book by Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge.

The American Theatre Wing's 71st Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Tony and Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey, aired live from Radio City Music Hall last night, honoring theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway and wrapping up the 2016-17 awards season.

On Friday evening, May 24, Playbill's Blake Ross and BroadwayWorld.com's Rob and Jennifer Diamond co-hosted the only birthday party that took two editors of two major theatre web sites to plan ... Director/Producer Richard Jay-Alexander's 60th Birthday Bash! The party, held on the third floor of theatre district hot spot Angus McIndoe's restaurant, played host to friends, family, colleagues and more, so we couldn't resist sharing some of Linda Lenzi's wonderful pictures with you. The Broadway revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES celebrated its first preview production at the Longacre Theatre, on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. The show opens on April 18, 2010. BroadwayWorld joined Kelsey Grammer, Douglas Hodge and the stars of La Cage in celebration this week at Hurley's in Times Square, following their first curtain call.

There will be a benefit concert at the Laurie Beechman Theater At West Bank Cafe to honor Fulton Opera House's late artistic director, Michael Mitchell. Mitchell passed away in September of 2008. The event will be held on January 25 at 7pm. Tony nominee Jonathan Groff will be among the performers, the cast will also include Rachel Coloff, Jenna Coker-Jones, Christopher Kale Jones, Lyndy Franklin, Gregg Goodbrod, Matt Gibson, Michael McGuirk, Matt Simpkins, Tara Bruno, Jessica Kademenos, Mark Fisher, Steph Wilberding, Julia Osborne, Chris York, Harold Barnard, Nathaniel Shaw, Chris Crowthers, Eric Neher, Eric Ulloa, Michael Strassheim, Nicky Venditti, Gavin Waters, Scott Sussman, Stephanie Lynne-Mason, and Danny Gardner. Several alumni from productions that Mitchell directed for the Fulton will perform. Proceeds benefit the Michael Mitchell Endowment, supporting his legacy of theater produced at the Fulton.
