New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced that its 2014 Spring Gala will honor Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff and President of The Dodgers Michael David. Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. Director Joss Whedon has released the first three minutes of his new film IN YOUR EYES which is debuting this week at the Tribeca Film Festival. The story, starring Broadway vet Zoe Kazan (granddaughter of legendary producer and director Elia Kazan) and Michael Stahl-David as two people with seemingly no connection unexplainably drawn together across the continent. Kazan plays a wife and mother in New England who shares a metaphysical connection with Stahl-David's ex-con in New Mexico.

Theatrical singer, songwriter, actor, writer, model, dancer and DJ, Kenyon Phillips announced today that writer/blogger Michael Musto, writer/performer David Cale, and actor/singer and drag performer Flotilla DeBarge (HBO's Angels in America) will join the cast of the world premiere performance of The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips. Musto will play the role of Kenyon's therapist, Cale a reporter, and Flotilla will portray Kenyon's ex-girlfriend, Gina. The three join previously announced Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent, Anna in the Tropics).
