The Directors Company has announced the complete cast for its upcoming production of Irena's Vow, the new play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh and directed by Michael Parva.

Four-time Tony Award-nominee Tovah Feldshuh will return to the New York stage in Irena's Vow, a new play by Dan Gordon, beginning September 7th at Baruch Performing Arts Center - 55 Lexington Avenue @ 25th Street (between Lexington & Third Aves).

Michael Parva, Artistic Director of The Directors Company, announced today that the company will be presenting a special invitation-only reading of a new musical, Stoker, this Thursday, April 17th, at 311 W 43rd Street in Manhattan at 3:00 p.m.

The first annual Joel and Phyllis Ehrlich Award for a socially relevant new work of theater will be awarded to one of the four plays being showcased in June as part of the TRU Voices New Plays Reading series, announced Bob Ost, President of Theater Resources Unlimited

Playwright Mark Schultz is the recipient of The National Arts Club's 2006 Kesselring Prize for Playwriting. The $15,000 prize is awarded annually to a playwright of exceptional promise.

Deb Margolin has been awarded the Kesselring Prize for Playwriting

Playwright Deb Margolin -- author of the plays 'Three Seconds in the Key,' 'Bringing the Fisherman Home' and 'Rock Scissors Paper' -- is the recipient of the $15,000 '2005 Kesselring Prize' for playwriting, it has been announced by O. Aldon James, president of The National Arts Club, which presents the Kesselring each year to an emerging American playwright. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Kesselring Prize.

The New York 'IT' Awards (sponsored by Backstage) takes place September 19th at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
