Rehabilitation Through The Arts (RTA) will present a reading of Home is a Verb, a new play by Melissa Cooper based on true stories about the challenges faced when returning home after prison. Directed by Richard Hamburger, this one-night-only presentation of Home is a Verb will benefitRTA, whose mission is to use the transformative power of the arts to develop social and cognitive skills that prisoners need for successful reintegration into the community, while raising public awareness of the humanity behind prison walls.

Scully (filmmaker and CEO of Artemis Rising Foundation) will receive the Loreen Arbus Changemaker Award; and the inaugural Nancy Malone Directing Award will be presented to groundbreaking filmmaker Julie Dash.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater kicks off a five-week holiday season on Wednesday, November 29 with a star-studded gala benefit, including a performance at New York City Center, and dinner-party at the New York Hilton Midtown Grand Ballroom. SundanceTV announced today that production is underway on season three of the network's critically-acclaimed original scripted anthology series HAP AND LEONARD, in Atlanta, Georgia.
