Vocalist Rachel Ulanet, who has appeared on Broadway as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, as well as Lovemusik and King David,  makes her Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut with Keep Me Searching. Ulanet's funny and provocative reflection on our changing political and social landscape is supported by a strong and timeless repertoire. Performing music from Stevie Wonder, Kurt Weill, Bonnie Raitt, Michel Legrand and Neil Young, among others, Ulanet explores our shared experiences during these unusual times, and their effect on her life as an artist, mother and citizen. Directed by Julie Reyburn (Sondheim Unplugged, multi-MAC, Bistro, and Nightlife Award winner), Keep Me Searching features a trio headed by Musical Director/pianist Matt Baker, with Ray Marchica on drums and Michael Blanco on bass. The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) just welcomed Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth as host for the seventh annual BROADWAY SALUTES event last night, September 29, 2015. The event included special guest performances by Nikki M James, Nathaniel Hackmann, Sydney Lucas and Jake Lucas who each performed a song from three shows that opened the year the BROADWAY SALUTES honorees entered the business. In this industry-wide public celebration, theatre professionals received special recognition for having worked 25, 35 and 50+ years on Broadway for their valuable contributions to the business.

NATALIE DOUGLAS - the acclaimed vocalist hailed as "sensational" by Time Out New York and "stirring" by The New York Daily News - will debut the new concert "HELLO DOLLY…THE MUSIC OF DOLLY PARTON" on Monday, September 15 at 9:30 PM. Douglas honors another notably-buxom performer: the beloved singer, actor, songwriter and Broadway composer Dolly Parton. Selections including songs that Dolly wrote such as "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors" and "I Just Might" from the Broadway musical 9 to 5, in addition to numbers that Dolly creatively covered like Neil Young's "After The Gold Rush" and Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven." Natalie will be joined by her longtime Musical Director Mark Hartman (Broadway's Avenue Q, Sondheim on Sondheim) on piano, accordion and mandolin; Michael Blanco on bass; Scott Kuney on guitar and banjo; Joe Choroszewski on drums and Shanna Sharp on acoustic guitar.

CHAPLIN, a new musical depicting the life of film icon Charlie Chaplin played by Rob McClure, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Christopher Curtis, opened on Broadway on Monday, September 10, 2012. Warren Carlyle (Finian's Rainbow; Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway) directs and choreographs the production. The company was in the studio on yesterday, November 5 to record a cast album and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities. Check out behind the scenes photos below!

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's WICKED was already hard a work yesterday recording their track for the album. Brooke Shields Makes Cabaret Debut at Feinstein's, 2/1-12

New York native and stage and screen star, Brooke Shields, will make her solo cabaret debut on Tuesday, February 1 at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. Under the direction of Mark Waldrop, Ms. Shields will present In My Life, an intimate look into the life of the actress, from her early days as the 'Ivory Soap baby' to now. She will share stories from her incredible journey in show business in an evening that will feature some of her favorite pop songs, those from previous Broadway appearances, and selections from the upcoming Broadway musicals, Leap of Faith, by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, and Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich's Ever After, a musical adaptation of the 20th Century Fox Film.
