SLEEPING BEAUTY, the magical retelling of the Brothers Grimm tale, will be presented from April 23 through June 7 at Drury Lane Theatre for Young Adults, 100 Drury Lane, in Oakbrook Terrace. Beautifully reimagined by Marc Robin, the beloved musical is certain to delight and surprise young audiences. The production is directed by Jeff Award winner Tammy Mader (Sunset Boulevard, Gypsy, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Hairspray at Drury Lane Theatre). Drury Lane Theatre also offers families the special opportunity to have breakfast with characters from SLEEPING BEAUTY on select performance dates in the dining room with a festive buffet.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the beloved annual holiday tradition entertaining thousands of families each year, will be presented from November 21 through December 21 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane. Recently enhanced with traditional carols, the timeless story is directed by Scott Calcagno (Legally Blonde at The Civic Theatre, Grease at The Long Lake Theatre as well as the annual production of A Christmas Carol at Drury Lane Theatre). The hour long Drury Lane production uses 14 of the most versatile actors in Chicago to bring over 30 of the colorful Dickensian characters to life. Drury Lane Theatre also offers families the special opportunity to have breakfast or dinner with Santa Claus on select performance dates in the dining room with a festive buffet-style menu complete with seasonal favorites.

Full of cheer for all ages, A Christmas Carol: The Musical opens November 14 and runs through December 22 at 1040 Ridge Road, Munster. The press performance will be Sunday, November 17 at 7 p.m. Theatre at the Center's production will be directed by Artistic Director William Pullinsi and stars five time Jeff-Award nominee Larry Adams as 'Scrooge'. Adams recently appeared in Oliver! at Drury Lane, Off-Broadway in the The Hunchback Variations, and was in the Broadway production and National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. He was seen at Theatre at the Center as 'Julian Marsh' in 42nd Street, 'Captain Von Trapp' in the Sound of Music, 'George' in La Cage aux Folles, 'Pilot' in Jesus Christ Superstar and in the title role in Maury Yeston's Phantom.
