The most wonderful season of the year takes over ABC and Disney Channel with star-studded TV specials as Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line transform into magical winter wonderlands filled with seasonal attractions and joyful entertainment. During the specials, viewers will also get exclusive looks at upcoming attractions and experiences coming to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.

After last year's successful company-wide “25 Days of Christmas” programming event, Disney|ABC Television will again be the TV destination for all must-see holiday programming by bringing holiday cheer across all of their channels. Beginning Dec. 1, ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior will be airing holiday-themed programming and entertainment for the whole family throughout the month, leading up to Christmas Day.

'Legendary,' an affirming anthem and music video that supports girls' great potential everywhere and heralds the United Nations' International Day of the Girl Child (Oct. 11), will debut MONDAY, OCT. 8, on Disney Channel and DisneyMusicVEVO. Made for Kids and Tweens age 6-14, 'Legendary' encompasses the spirit of camaraderie and delivers the powerful message that when girls and young women support each other and work together, nothing is out of reach. This initiative further amplifies Disney Channel's brand promises: 'Express Yourself,' 'Believe in Yourself' and 'Celebrate Your Friends and Family.'

Last night Los Angeles, stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John-Kamen and Abby Ryder Fortson were joined by director Peyton Reed and producers Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard for a walk down the red carpet where they greeted excited fans at the world premiere of Marvel Studios' ANT-MAN AND THE WASP.

This subversive, loopy, and fantastically eccentric take-think banjos, beach balls, and guitars-on Gilbert and Sullivan's preposterous musical took audiences in Chicago by storm when presented by rebel theatre-makers The Hipocrites. Frederic was mistakenly apprenticed as a young boy to a band of sentimental pirates. Now 21, he falls head-over-heels for the Major-General's daughter and forswears the buccaneer's life forever, or so he thinks. This buoyant, award-winning Pirates of Penzance by Sean Graney and Kevin O'Donnell and featuring just 12 actors (who also serve as the orchestra) is an irrevent and fresh homage to a world turned upside-down for Gilbert and Sullivan diehard fans and newcomers alike.

Today, March For Our Lives Los Angeles announced Amy Schumer, Yara Shahidi, Connie Britton, Olivia Wilde and Skai Jackson, will take to the stage, joining Charlie Puth who will perform, at March For Our Lives in Downtown Los Angeles on March 24. They will join a slate of student speakers and performers including Charlie Puth. Mayor Eric Garcetti will provide introductory remarks.

The power of a music-driven story, an integral part of Disney Channel's connection to kid and tween viewers, continues to bear out with 'ZOMBIES,' the #1 cable telecast among Kids 6-11, Kids 6-14, Tweens 9-14 and Girls 6-11 in seven months, since the premiere of 'Descendants 2' (July 21, 2017). Among all kids cable TV networks, it is the highest rated telecast in Total Viewers (four million), since the debut of 'Raven's Home' (July 21, 2017), according to newly available L+7 data. Through its first 10 telecasts, 'ZOMBIES' reached 12.8 million Total Viewers, including 4.0 million Kids 6-11. In other metrics, 'ZOMBIES' is Disney Channel's #1 Video-On-Demand property and has been #1 in the DisneyNOW app since its Feb. 16 premiere.

Against big competition from the 2018 Winter Olympics, Disney Channel's ZOMBIES reached 10.3 million Total Viewers, including 3.3 million Kids 6-11, over the holiday weekend with eight telecasts beginning Friday, Feb. 16 (8:00 p.m. EST) through Monday, Feb. 19. The Friday, Feb. 16 premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie ZOMBIES is the #1 cable TV telecast among Kids 6-11 (1.14 million/4.8 rating) and Girls 6-11 (752,000/6.4 rating) since DESCENDANTS 2 on July 21, 2017 and the #1 telecast across kid cable TV networks in Total Viewers (2.57 million) since the debut of Raven's Home; on July 21, 2017.

Multi-talented young actors Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly, stars of the Disney Channel Original Movie Disney ZOMBIES, will present the debut of a ZOMBIES-themed, action-packed cheerleading routine choreographed by Varsity Spirit and performed by a nationally-ranked cheer squad on FRIDAY, JAN. 26 on Disney Channel. Manheim and Donnelly will also launch Disney Channel ZOMBIES Spirit Challenge inviting kids and tweens nationwide to show their zombie spirit for a chance to win a ZOMBIES  screening party with a Disney Channel star or have their photo featured during the movie premiere telecast today, Feb. 16 (8:00 p.m., EST/PST) on Disney Channel.

The Wilbury Theatre Group launches into 2018 with a bold new staging of Thornton Wilder's tragicomic masterpiece The Skin of Our Teeth directed by Wilbury Founder/Artistic Director Josh Short with music direction by Matt Requintina (Spring Awakening), January 18 through February 4 at their new home and performance space at 40 Sonoma Court, Olneyville.
