The National Theatre's today (17 May 2017 ) announced the 34 strong cast for its acclaimed production of War Horse which begins a major tour of the UK on 15 September 2017.

Meet the little pig with big dreams in Polka's new stage adaptation of Dick King-Smith's much loved novel Babe, The Sheep-Pig. Featuring stunning puppetry, original music and a charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, Babe, the Sheep-Pig runs on Polka's Main Stage from 25 Nov 2016 - 5 Feb 2017 for the whole family ages 5 and up. With a subsequent national tour throughout 2017, this is Polka's biggest ever production.

Adapted from Dick King-Smith's much-loved children's novel which inspired the Oscar-winning 1995 film, Babe, The Sheep-Pig will be brought to life on stage in an enchanting new production, embarking on a major UK Tour in 2017 following a Christmas season at Polka Theatre. Featuring stunning puppetry, an original score and an utterly charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, the tour will launch from West Yorkshire Playhouse on Monday 13 February and run until September 2017. A stellar cast of actors has been announced for Immersion Theatre's brand new Open-Air adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.

Now in its fourth year in the West End, Nick Stafford's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's book has been playing to sell-out houses at the New London Theatre since March 2009. The Broadway production of War Horse, which continues its run at the Lincoln Center's Vivien Beaumont Theatre, was the winner of six Tony Awards including a Special Tony Award for Handspring Puppet Company. In February of this year War Horse opened to great critical acclaim at The Princess of Wales Theatre, Toronto. War Horse premiered at The National Theatre in October 2007.

Today, 23 March 2012, the National Theatre's internationally award-winning production of War Horse releases over 250,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings at the New London Theatre to 26 October 2013.

From 16 November 2011 a new cast of actors and puppeteers will join the National Theatre's internationally award-winning production of War Horse at the New London Theatre. Now in its fourth year, Michael Morpurgo's War Horse has been seen by over 1.5 million people world-wide.

The National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse is currently playing the New London Theatre, and will egin a full UK tour in Fall 2013, according to The Stage. While official tour dates and venues have not yet been confirmed, executive director Nick Starr revealed that in addition to the West End, Broaway, and upcoming Toronto production, there are also plans to open in Australia, Japan, and South Africa.

Today, 6 June, the National Theatre's award-winning production of War Horse at the New London Theatre will release over 290,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings up to 20 October 2012.
