Casting is announced today for workshop performances of ZELDA - A Post-Modern Musical which will take place at The Other Palace next week.

A unique one-off outdoor performance of The Last Ship, that will include its creator Sting who will be performing live alongside the cast, is to be held in Newcastle later this month, alongside the very river that helped inspire and shape the show.

Sting attended the press night of his musical The Last Ship at the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham tonight - and posed with the cast for a photo on stage after the show.

Stars of the West End Kate Graham (Billy Elliot, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Mamma Mia!) and Matt Corner (Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys), return home to the North East and join forces with, the self-proclaimed danciest swing band in the country, the Scottish Swing Orchestra and the BRASS Broadway Chorus to showcase swing versions of great Broadway songs from Anything Goes, Hairspray, Chicago, West Side Story and many more.

Due to overwhelming public demand, there will be an extra performance of the West End smash hit musical JERSEY BOYS in its final week at the Piccadilly Theatre on Thursday 23 March at 3.00pm. This week - week commencing 13 February 2017 - JERSEY BOYS has broken the house record for ticket sales in the history of the Piccadilly Theatre.

One of London's best loved musicals, Jersey Boys, will close at the Piccadilly Theatre on Sunday 26 March 2017 following nine amazing years in London.
