The “emotional yet soaringly beautiful” (Daniel Feinberg, The Hollywood Reporter) second season of “The Handmaid's Tale” comes to Blu-ray and DVD December 4th from MGM Television and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The 4-disc set includes all 13 heart-stopping episodes,  as well as two brand new featurettes that take the viewers beyond the pages of Margaret Atwood's award-winning, best-selling novel.

International women's rights organization Equality Now is unveiling a new campaign with Emmy Award-winning Hulu Original Series, The Handmaid's Tale, which calls on people to use the power of their name and the power of the law to achieve equality for women and girls.

From the studio that produced the hit podcast, Missing Richard Simmons, Topic Studios today announced they are partnering with the award-winning John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Shortbus, How to Talk to Girls at Parties) for a pioneering new podcast, "Anthem." This edgy anthology series will tell a unique American story though a distinct musical voice, with each season pairing an iconic songwriter with an experienced storyteller to bring audiences a fascinating tale from a neglected corner of the country. "Anthem" is currently in production and will be available to audiences later this year.

HANDMAID'S TALE Creator Gets Deal With Hulu & MGM TV

Award-winning and hit drama series, THE HANDMAID'S TALE, will return for season two on April 25th with two new episodes, and subsequent episodes released every Today only on Hulu.

Shrunken Shakespeare Company's Co-Founder and newly appointed Executive Director Yvonne Cone announced today that the well-known company is back after two and a half years with a brand new Board of Directors, and an all-new production. SSC's first production in this new outing as a not-for-profit will be William Shakespeare's Richard II, which will be the highlight of their 2018/2019 season. Dates and location will be announced at a later time.

Following the announcement of kicking off Opening Night with the world premiere of Steven Tyler's documentary OUT ON A LIMB, the Nashville Film Festival continues its lineup for the ten-day festival (May 10-19, 2018) with the announcement of 48 additional feature films in Narrative, Documentary, New Directors and Graveyard Shift competitions. Capturing the essence of today's most relevant social issues, historical stories and more, these 48 films hail from China, South Africa, Netherlands, Denmark, India, France and more, as well as 31 from the U.S. A jury of industry professionals will select the winning films that will take home up to $20,000 in cash and prizes.
