THE FIRST NATIONAL TOUR OF LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL will begin performances in Milwaukee on April 13-18, 2010 presented by Broadway Across America-Milwaukee and the Marcus Center as part of the Time Warner Cable Broadway at the Marcus Center Series. Tickets will go on sale at NOON on December 13.

Katie Thompson (left), Morgan Karr and Mac Award Winner Cait Doyle led the cast of This Preview is RATED RSO-a set of songs by Ryan Scott Oliver-which will perform at the Public Theatre, produced by the Summer Play Festival. The evening featured songs from Mrs. Sharp, Darling, plus new material. The concert play took place Friday, July 24 at 9:30pm.

KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY is a witty yet caustic musical comedy about a man who 'cannot take orders from anybody.' The limited run of the York production opened on Friday, June 26th and BroadwayWorld's cameras were there.

Nick Gaswirth ('Harpo Marx' in last season's Musicals in Mufti Minnie's Boys) will replace Bobby Steggert in the role of Brom Broeck in this weekend's concert presentation of KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY by the York Theatre Company. Mr. Steggert had to leave unexpectedly due to a family emergency. Also, Ric Stoneback (1776, Paper Mill) has replaced John O'Creagh.

'The Battery's Down,' the hit online television series, returns for a second season. Filmed in a style similar to 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' or 'The Office,' 'The Battery's Down' chronicles The Life of young actor Jake Wilson in New York City. Each twenty-minute, two-part episode will premiere at 12:01AM the first of every month.

Here's To The Ladies Who CARE: A Benefit for CARE took place on February 9th at New World Stages. Becca Ayers, Heather Ayers, Lauren Kennedy, Kristy Cates, Erin Davie, Lori Eure, Lauren Kennedy, Lindsay Mendez, Cary Michele Miller, Keira Naughton, Julie Reiber, Jenny Powers, and Megan Sikora all sang some of their favorite songs for an eclectic evening of music to raise money and awareness for CARE. Student tickets are now available at the New World Stages box office for Here's to the Ladies who CARE: A Benefit for CARE. For $26.50, with a valid student ID, students will not only learn about CARE, but also get to hear some of their favorite Broadway performers sing. Plus, they will get to attend the post-concert reception where they'll have the opportunity to bid on special 'student only' silent auction items such as memorabilia signed by some of Broadways biggest stars.

The Zipper Factory Theater (336 West 37th Street) is pleased to present MONUMENTAL EVENING WITH MILLER & TYSEN, featuring the songs of Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen performed by a 'newly appointed cabinet of musical theatre bad asses' on Monday, January 19 at 8:00 p.m. Chris (music) and Nathan (lyrics) will debut new material from their upcoming commissions at Lincoln Center and Playwrights Horizons, plus songs from The Burnt Part Boys (opening this season in the Vineyard Theatre's lab series). Accompanied by a 5-piece string band, the performers will include Norm Lewis, Leslie Kritzer, Matt Caplan, Allison Case, Charlie Brady, and a reunion of the Drama Desk nominated cast of Fugitive Songs (Halle Petro, Todd Pettiford, Ben Roseberry and Lucia Spina).
