The Drunk Shakespeare Society is celebrating William Shakespeare's 450th birthday all this week at DRUNK SHAKESPEARE. For all performances through Saturday, April 26, a free beer is included with the purchase of a $25 ticket, using the code BARDBEER.

Houston Grand Opera presented the 2014 Opera Ball, Fleurs de l'Opera, Saturday, April 5, at 7 p.m. in the Wortham Theater Center. With more than six hundred guests in attendance, the sold-out gala raised $2 million to support the company's internationally renowned performances and community programs that distinguish HGO as one of America's great opera companies.

Due to popular demand, The Drunk Shakespeare Society has added two special late night performances of DRUNK SHAKESPEARE on Friday, April 11 & Saturday, April 12 at 10PM. For these special performances, the 'Drunk Actor' from the 8PM performance will drink again at 10PM, adding an extra layer of drunken debauchery to the late night show. Three Day Hangover's 'Big Boozy Benefit' was held on Sunday, March 30th was a star studded night of music and partying at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City. New cast members have been announced for Three Day Hangover's Big Boozy Benefit, an event supporting the company's awesome 2014 Season! Jennifer Mudge (Rocky), Autumn Hurlbert (NBC's The Sound of Music Live!), Allison Guinn (Hair), Stephen Plunkett (War Horse, The Mend), Chad Goodridge (Passing Strange), January LaVoy (Enron), and Liv Rooth (Beyond Therapy, Venus in Fur) will join the previously announced cast members, all of whom represent a crazy-talented and ridiculously good-looking group of actors from Broadway, film and TV.

After bursting onto the New York theater scene in 2013 with back-to-back, critically-acclaimed productions, Three Day Hangover has planned a stellar 2014 season, announced today by co-artistic directors David Hudson, Beth Gardiner and Lori Wolter Hudson. The company will continue bringing innovative, joyful productions of classic plays to bars. This spring, they will produce Twelfth Night infused with a New York flair and a live band karaoke. Come summer, they'll shake things up by adding Chekhov to the mix in a vodka-soaked adaptation of Uncle Vanya. They'll finish the year with a Super-Secret Smash-Up of two Shakespeare plays combined into one, unique event. The company will kick off its season with a Big Boozy Benefit to be held on March 30, 2014 at 7pm at Rockwood Music Hall, 196 Allen Street (between East Houston and Stanton) in NYC.

After a sold out, two-week run and rave reviews, Three Day Hangover is extending R+J: Star-Cross'd Death Match, their Romeo & Juliet Shakespeare drinking theatrical extravaganza performed in a bar with audience participation. Nine additional performances will be held at Quinn's Irish Pub (formerly Harley's Smokeshack), 356 West 44th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10036 from November 7-23, 2013. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm.
