Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced the complete cast and creative team for their upcoming Kander and Ebb review The World Goes 'Round as part of the 2013 Playhouse Productions Summer Season. Performances begin June 27th and run through July 21st at the Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street, New Hope, PA).

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) has announced today that acclaimed actress Marilu Henner (Original Broadway production of The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Television's 'Taxi') will be joining the cast of The Tale of the Allergist's Wife by Charles Busch, the final production of the 2013 Playhouse Productions Summer Season. She will be joined by the previously announced cast of Marsha Mason, David Garrison, and Lynn Cohen. Four-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines will direct. Golden Globe winner and four-time Academy Award nominee for Best Actress, Marsha Mason, will star as Marjorie Taub. Featuring a book by Tony Award nominee Hunter Foster (Little Shop of Horrors) and music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum (Vanities), Summer of '42 is based upon the novel and screenplay by Herman Raucher. Tony Award nominee Lonny Price (A Class Act) makes his directorial return to the Bucks County Playhouse following A Grand Night for Singing, the first show of last year's grand re-opening.

Oguma replaces Elizabeth Ashley who regretfully had to withdraw due to personal reasons and hopes to return to The Playhouse stage in the near future. Comedic star Alonzo Bodden has entertained crowds worldwide with his hilarious stand-up routine. This February, Bodden will take his international touring act to the Comix stage for four shows starting Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m., with additional performances Friday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for advance general admission ($30 day of show) and $40 for advance VIP admission ($50 day of show). VIP admission includes priority club access and reserved table selection before general seating begins. A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets, which are on sale now. This show is for mature audiences only.
