Last year, in 2018, the third annual Dancers For Good Benefit supporting the Actors Fund Dancers Resource in East Hampton was so impressive that I challenged the founders to 'high-kick it up a notch even higher next year'. I'm thrilled to announce that not only did they clearly accept that challenge, they superseded all expectations!

Dancers For Good, the magical celebration of dance, will bring world-class companies, choreographers, dancers and performers under one roof for one night only for a charity event benefiting The Actors Fund, an organization that fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan.

The 68th Broadway At Music Circus season begins June 12 with the beloved musical comedy Singin' in the Rain. Based on the film starring Gene Kelly as a dashing leading man in Hollywood's golden age, widely considered 'The Greatest Movie Musical of All Time,' the show features glorious dance sequences, riotous comedy routines and unforgettable songs. Performances of Singin'in the Rain are Tuesday, June 12 through Sunday, June 17 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion.

The indomitable and generous spirit of the theatre community - those onstage, backstage and in the audience - shined brightly as the 29th annual Gypsy of the Year competition celebrated six weeks of fundraising work of 56 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Gypsy of the Year (#GypsyOfTheYear), which was held December 4 and 5, 2017, raised a record-breaking $5,609,211 for Broadway Cares. Check out highlights from the show below!

Broadway's brightest will celebrate six weeks of dedicated fundraising in a spectacular showcase of songs and skits when the 29th Annual Gypsy of the Year competition returns at 4:30 pm Monday, December 4, 2017, and at 2 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Stars from Broadway's hottest shows, including Aladdin, A Bronx Tale, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton and Meteor Shower, will make special appearances at the 29th annual Gypsy of the Year competition on Monday, December 4, at 4:30 pm and Tuesday, December 5, at 2 pm.

In "Noodles Needs A Nap" (published by Balboa Press), Noodles teaches young readers that they don't have to meet Prince Charming in order to have a happy ending.

Broadway Bares, the hottest burlesque show around, opened the summer season with another seductive edition of Broadway Bares Fire Island. The sexy men and women of Broadway Bares returned to Fire Island Pines, NY, on June 4, 2016, for two sold-out performances, raising $51,733 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The Encores! production of DO I HEAR A WALTZ?, the romantic, rarely-seen 1965 musical that marked the only collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim, opens tonight.

Next up in the Encores! season is Do I Hear a Waltz?, the romantic, rarely-seen 1965 musical that marked the only collaboration of Richard Rodgers and Stephen Sondheim. Do I Hear a Waltz? will star Claybourne Elder, Melissa Errico, Sarah Hunt, Zachary Infante, Cass Morgan, Richard Poe, Michael Rosen, Sarah Stiles, and Richard Troxell. The ensemble includes Kristine Bendul, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Jenny Laroche, Jennifer Locke, Nathan Madden, Skye Mattox, Devin Roberts, Manny Stark, and Alex Wong.

Encores! Antonia Productions and Tony Montiglio will present an invite-only industry presentation of the Disco Era musical, THE ART OF THE HUSTLE written by Annette Alicanti, directed by Jonathan Cerullo, with choreography by Kristine Bendul & Ralph Ramirez and musical direction by Oliver Marsh on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 7PM

The 25th epic edition of Broadway Bares celebrated the golden age of Broadway with an evening of ripped dancers, cheeky choreographers and sumptuous showgirls on Sunday, June 21, 2015, for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  Check out the video below!

BC Beat, the bi-annual choreography showcase established to support, explore and experience innovative theatrical dance, announces a line up for Monday May 18th featuring nine choreographers with work performed by a company of 40 artists from Broadway's biggest hits.  The evening kicks off at 7pm with music by DJ Justin Johnston (RENT) at Cielo (18 Little W. 12th Street).
