Musicals Tonight! Continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next editions of At This Performance...TM to be held on Sunday, November 8th and Monday, November 9th at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, (above the Promenade Theatre- Broadway at 76th Street), 3rd Floor at 8 PM.

'Salon 2009' will be presented Nov. 2 at the residence of Ron Pobuda on Central Park South. The evening, the fourth annual in the 'Salon' series, will be comprised of songs and stories and will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.

Loaded, a new play written by Elliot Ramón Potts, is set for a limited engagement from November 7, 2009 through January 23, 2010 at Theatre Row. Directed by Michael Unger, this production will have its Official Opening on Sunday, November 15 at 3:00PM.

California International Theatre Festival 2009 season is presented by the City of Calabasas with Linda Purl as Festival Director, M. Edgar Rosenblum as Executive Director and Joe Peracchio as Festival Producer.

The reading, presented by Hare/Deux Productions (Kevin Spirtas, Producing Manager), will take place Sunday, June 14, 7:00 pm at the Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street, New York City).

The third annual GAYFEST NYC, the country's premier festival of new gay-themed plays, will be presented June 3-6, 2009 at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, 312 West 36th Street, New York City. The not-for-profit GAYFEST NYC, Inc. develops new LGBT works for world stages and film and television production and provides in-school elective programs and scholarships for students of Harvey Milk High School. Since June 2007, GAYFEST NYC has presented seventeen scholarships to graduating seniors.

On January 4th 2009, after over 2,641 performances, the curtain fell at the Neil Simon Theater on the final performance of Broadway's 2003 Tony Award winning musical HAIRSPRAY starring original cast members Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur. POZ's 'Bacharch to the Future' Fundraiser brought music and promise to the New World Stages on Monday, December 1, 2008, World AIDS Day. The premier performance of Bacharach to the Future, a fund-raiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, honored music legend Burt Bacharach, the composer of 'That's What Friends Are For,' the pioneering recording that benefited The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) in 1985.
