Celebration Raises $99,000 in Support of the Arts in Howard County

On Saturday, March 24, over 500 business and arts leaders attended the Arts Council's 15th Annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County Gala at Howard Community College's Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center in Columbia. This year's annual benefit gala raised $99,000, with an additional $72,000 in donated goods and services in support of the arts in Howard County. Since 1998, over $1 million has been raised through Celebration of the Arts!

PCS Announces New Chair of Board of Trustees

Portland Center Stage announces Steve Hedberg, a partner at Perkins Coie, LLP as the new chair of the board of trustees at Portland's largest professional theater company. Hedberg was elected chair, along with seven other officers, by the full board in June 2011 and began his post July 1.
