Today, October 30, 2012, Lord & Taylor will host "Shop Smart. Do Good! A Fundraising Day" in support of local charitable organizations. The event will give non-profit organizations the opportunity to raise thousands of dollars in one special day. Personal appearances will be made by Olympic Champion and designer, Kristi Yamaguchi, New York Basketball Legend, John Starks, Eric Hatcher of Echo Brands, Senior Vice President of Cosmetics and Parfums for Hanae Mori, Dean Lewis, and CEO & Author of The 7 Virtues of a Philosopher Queen, Barb Stegemann, among others. Customers will have the option to receive complimentary ornament calligraphy, complimentary monogramming on any cashmere purchase, have a balloon character made for the kids or receive a complimentary hand rolled cigar.
