At its annual gala event, Celebrate Colburn, the Colburn School will honor renowned conductor Michael Tilson Thomas and acclaimed architect Frank Gehry with the Richard D. Colburn award, for their exemplary achievements and contributions to the worlds of classical music and the performing arts in Los Angeles and throughout the world. Celebrate Colburn takes place at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at 7 p.m., followed by a post-performance dinner at a location to be announced.

Freeform, Disney's young adult television and streaming network, will debut the premiere of grown- ish, on January 3, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. EST, in a special two-episode event. From the executive producer of ABC's Emmy-nominated black ish, comes grown-ish, a half-hour spinoff comedy tackling current social issues and complexities facing both students and administrators.

Steep Theatre's 17th season will open this fall with the Chicago premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar's The Invisible Hand, directed by Audrey Francis. Akhtar won the Pulitzer for his play Disgraced, which premiered in 2012 at American Theatre Company in Chicago and later played both at the Goodman Theatre and on Broadway.
FX Orders Second Season of Scripted Drama Series SNOWFALL

SNOWFALL as been renewed for a second season, it was announced today by Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions. The drama about the start of the crack epidemic in Los Angeles will return to FX for its second season in 2018.
