On Wednesday, the Bandsintown LIVE streaming channel celebrates “Inner World,” the first album by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama released on July 6th, his 85th Birthday. The program features exclusive interviews with Tencho Gyatso, the niece of the Dalai Lama and director of Tibetan Empowerment & Chinese Engagement Programs for the International Campaign, and Junelle Groves, the album's executive producer. There will be music and seven meditations from the album with comforting themes like Compassion, Courage, Humanity, and Wisdom.

AMC Greenlights Anthology Series NATIONAL ANTHEM

AMC announced today that it has greenlit National Anthem, an 8-episode anthology series created by writer/director Scott Z. Burns (The Report, Contagion) and executive produced by Oscar® and Emmy® Award-winner Mark Johnson (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Rectify, Rain Man, The Natural, Bugsy).  The musical dramedy is the first series greenlit under Johnson's multi-year overall deal with AMC Studios, through which he will continue to develop new series for the company's Entertainment Group as well as projects for potential sale to other content companies. National Anthem is the tragically funny story of a middle class midwestern family tumbling down the ladder of American society; periodically bursting into song as they struggle to catch themselves.  Award-winning musician T Bone Burnett (Crazy Heart, The Hunger Games) is attached as the series' music producer with words and music by Craig Finn (The Hold Steady).

The Game Audio Network Guild today announced its 18th annual G.A.N.G. Awards nominees with 20 categories in music, sound design, dialogue, mix, and VR. The nominees were selected by G.A.N.G. Advisory Board members and Committees, and winners will be announced at the G.A.N.G. Awards on March 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The annual event will once again coincide with the Game Developers Conference (GDC).
