Bill Kenwright presents the nationwide tour of the spine-tingling live production of The Exorcist, based on the best-selling novel by William Peter Blatty. Inspired by true events, this devilishly thrilling tale has been adapted for stage by John Pielmeier and directed by Sean Mathias (Waiting for Godot, No Man's Land), featuring the voice of Ian McKellen as the Demon.

Maplewood Playhouse rounds out their second season with the thought provoking drama, Agnes of God by John Pielmeier, opening April 26th at Improv U. Featuring an all female cast of local talent, this is a show not to be missed.

Mission to (dit)Mars is excited to announce the selection of four new members to the 2018-2020 Propulsion Lab, a Queens based writers group serving emerging playwrights from the borough.  In addition to the new lab members, one returning member has been named a Writer in Residence and three have been named Orbiting Artists.

The New Harmony Project announced today that it is now accepting applications for the 33rd annual conference to be held May 20 - June 1, 2019. Since 1986, the secluded town of New Harmony, Indiana has hosted artists from around the world for two-weeks of dedicated script development. Over the course of the conference, The New Harmony Project offers a retreat from the outside world and space for writers to fully immerse themselves in their work. The peaceful serenity of New Harmony, the site of two former utopian societies, is a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
