Organisers of Liverpool Theatre Festival have revealed plans for this year's headline and fringe events – with the first six shows going on sale. 

Jungle Theater and Trademark Theater will co-present the World Premiere of 5 to be staged at The Jungle Theater March 11 - April 16, 2023. Written and performed by Jungle Artist Cohort, JuCoby Johnson (playwright/actor) - and directed by H. Adam Harris, the bold drama set in the fictional world of Babylon, GA features the acting talents of Isabella Dawis, Aaron Todd Douglas, Eric Hagen, and Dana Lee Thompson.

Theater Resources Unlimited will present its weekly Community Gathering on Friday, December 2: How BroadwayHD Anticipated Theater in a Pandemic (and Post-Pandemic) World.

A dependable haven for artists in isolation, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) is now into its second year of non-stop weekly Community Gatherings this Friday, having offered to date over 100 conversations and unlimited camaraderie since April 17, 2020.

The new musical comedy Starting Up with book, music, & lyrics by Garett Press, directed by Jen Wineman, and with musical direction by Julianne Merrill, will receive a special industry presentation in New York City on December 1 & 2 at Pearl Studios.

Readings of the nw musical Psyche, starring Jay Armstrong Johnson and Johanna Moise  will take place on November 10th and 11th at 2pm at the DiMenna Center in Midtown Manhattan.

A private 29-hour reading of a new musical adaptation of The Great Gatsby, written by the Tony Award-nominated songwriting duo of Nathan Tysen and Jason Howland (Paradise Square), with book by Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones) and directed by Mark Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), will be held tomorrow, Friday, May 20 in New York City.

Broadway Records announced today the release of THE RAINBOW LULLABY, the world’s first LGBTQ lullaby album. Conceived by Ryan Bauer-Walsh, the recording includes songs by fifteen LGBTQIA+ writers including Bauer-Walsh, Marc Shaiman (Hairspray) and Debra Barsha (Radiant Baby), with performances by over thirty LGBTQIA+ artists.
