Celebrated cabaret performer Jamie deRoy presents a special evening of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie de Roy & friends on Tuesday, June 2nd (7PM) at the New York hotspot Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street ~between 5th & 6th Avenues) with a an evening of songs from Tony Award®-winning Musicals.

Performances continue through through March 22, 2009 at the White Plains Performing Arts Center (11 City Place, White Plains), Westchester's professional regional theatre, as part of the theatre's Bank of America Broadway Classics series.

Andrea Marcovicci - the celebrated singer and actress lauded as 'the greatest cabaret star of her generation' by The International Herald Tribune and 'the epitome of elegance and showbiz savvy' by Variety - returns to the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street) for an exclusive seven-week run from November 11 to December 27 with a special new program 'Marcovicci Sings Movies II.' The Laurie Beechman Theatre welcomed Broadway's Luba Mason for a one night only concert, as part of their celebrated Voices from the Great Whit Way Series. This one night only concert took place on Monday, August 25th @ 7pm. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located at 407 West 42nd St. (@ 9th Ave), in the heart of New York's theatre district.

On Monday, August 4, 2008 the Friars Club presented DIVA NIGHT! in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room at the Friars Club. The evening was Hosted & Produced by Randie Levine-Miller and starred Christine Andreas, Anna Bergman, Beth Fowler, Alice Frazier, Liz McCartney, Rena Strober, Christianne Tisdale, Deborah Tranelli. Paul Chamlin served as Musical Director for the evening. The theater and cabaret stars performed songs from 'The Broadway Songbook'.

On June 30, 2008 BroadwayWorld.com and Radio Broadway presented 'The Radio Hits of 1958' featured a variety of Broadway stars in addition to American Idol's Constantine Maroulis and alumni from American Bandstand. The event was held at the Town Hall, Times Square's landmark concert venue.

The following monthly performance dates will be May 14th and June 11th.

This week, at Any Wednesday November 14, Barnes & Noble is pleased to present Broadway tenor, David Burnham, just returned from starring in the national tour of The Light in the Piazza, which he also appeared in at Lincoln Center. He will be sharing some of his favorite songs from his new self-titled album.

David Steiner's mammoth Steiner Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yards, the largest film studio on the East Coast was the setting for a salute to stage and screen legend Patricia Neal, Wall Street whiz Shirl Penney and The Count and Countess Alexandre de Lesseps. The 'Hooray For Hollywood' gala evening benefited The Auditory Oral School of New York, a non profit organization which specializes in teaching deaf and hard of hearing children to listen, talk, think and socialize.
