City Theatre will host an intimate business lunch with Chris Matthews, anchor of MSNBC's 'Hardball with Chris Matthews' and the NBC-syndicated 'The Chris Matthews Show' on Monday, November 25, 2013. A television commentator with remarkable depth and breadth of experience, Mr. Matthews will share his in-depth political analysis, fiery opinions and sharp humor about politics, the arts, and his new book, "Tip and the Gipper: When Politics Worked".

ALBERT PODELL and THE YORK SHAKESPEARE COMPANY are pleased to announce the world premiere production of Alexander Harrington's The Great Society, directed by Seth Duerr. The Great Society will play a four-week limited engagement at the Clurman Theatre (Theatre Row: 410 West 42nd Street, NYC). Performances began Saturday, August 3 and continue through Saturday, August 24. Opening Night is tonight, August 8 (8 p.m.).

TV, feature and Broadway star Jack Noseworthy is set to star as Bobby Kennedy with Rob Lowe and Ginnifer Goodwin in KILLING KENNEDY. Plus he is starring in features TIO PAPI, JULIA and NEEDLESTICK.

Noir will begin preview performances tonight, April 4, 2013 and will celebrate its opening night on Saturday, April 6 at New Jersey Repertory Company (179 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ), running through Sunday, May 5.

Nominees for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2011 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for outstanding action performances by film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.

This October, the Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize salutes Will Ferrell. The program airs Monday, October 31 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS stations nationwide. Taped at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on October 23, the 90-minute special features a star-studded cast of Ferrell's friends and colleagues including top entertainers Billie Joe Armstrong of the band Green Day, Ed Asner, Jack Black, Matthew Broderick, Gwen Ifill, Adam McKay, Tim Meadows, Conan O'Brien, John C. Reilly, Paul Rudd, Andy Samberg, Molly Shannon and Ben Stiller. The evening pays tribute to the humor and accomplishments of the television icon and motion picture star.

Penguin Rep Theatre, in Association with Edmund Gaynes, will present The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, written by Angelo Parra, conceived and directed by Joe Brancato. Miche Braden stars as Bessie Smith, along with Aaron Graves, Jim Hankins, Keith Loftis, and Anthony E. Nelson, Jr.

Penguin Rep Theatre (Joe Brancato, Artistic Director, and Andrew M. Horn, Executive Director) and Edmund Gaynes, in association with Don and Lizanne Mitchell, will present The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, a musical by Angelo Parra, conceived and directed by Joe Brancato.
