Now entering its 101st season, the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene [NYTF] will present the first contemporary revival of the lost Yiddish American operetta THE GOLDEN BRIDE (Di Goldene Kale).  Featuring a cast of 20 and an orchestra of 14, this rare glimpse back into musical theater history begins previews December 2 as part of NYTF's inaugural year in residency at the Museum of Jewish Heritage [MJH]. The production marks the first long-running, full-scale production hosted at the Museum's 375-seat Edmond J. Safra Hall, which will be specially transformed for this ambitious event. Opening night is slated for Wednesday, December 9.

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene [NYTF] presented the citywide mega-festival KulturfestNYC this past summer. Now, entering into its 101st season and inaugural year in residency at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, NYTF takes on the rediscovered and restored Yiddish American Operetta The Golden Bride, playing December 2, 2015, through January 3, 2016, at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, 36 Battery Place, NYC. Generations around the world have grown up with Fiddler on the Roof and such unforgettable, iconic songs as "If I Were a Rich Man" and "Sunrise, Sunset." But getting to the "final Fiddler" was a fascinating process, and on May 30, 31 and June 1-closing the 2015 Lyrics & Lyricists season-lyricist Sheldon Harnick takes us inside the creation and history of this cultural landmark.

Last March, the West Coast premiere of the Yiddish Purim musical Di Megileh of Itzik Manger enjoyed a huge success, with four standing-room-only performances at the Jewish Community Center of the East Bay. In celebration of the 2015 Purim season, the New Yiddish Theater, in conjunction with the 30th Jewish Music Festival, takes pride in presenting a reprise with the same all-star lead performers and an updated choral arrangement. Performances will be given at 8 pm on February 26 & 28, March 1 & 3, with a matinee on Monday, March 2 at 1:30 pm. As before, all of the spoken and sung Yiddish will be super-titled in English.

New Repertory Theatre announces THE KING OF SECOND AVENUE, now playing through March 8, 2015 in the Charles Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA. NiCori Studios and Productions and Irvington Town Hall Theater announce a new cabaret musical series entitled, Cabaret on the Hudson. The series will begin on Monday, October 27 at 8pm and will feature three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY.

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, July 27, at 3pm. Performers include Liz McKendry, Adam Shapiro and Deborah Tranelli. The featured performer in the 'Young Musician Moment' will be members of Gas Lamp of Performing Arts cast of Drowsy Chaperone.

The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene, now in it's consecutive 99th season, will present two free one-night-only events at Baruch Performing Arts Center at 7pm this coming Monday and Tuesday. These events are sponsored by The City University of New York.

Following a wildly successful Off Broadway run last Spring, The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene's critically-acclaimed musical production 'The Megile of Itzik Manger' will return to Baruch Performing Arts Center for a two week limited engagement, March 2 - 16.

The Yiddish Theater Collective in collaboration with KlezCalifornia and the 29th Jewish Music Festival willpresent the West Coast Premiere of Itzik Manger's Purim musical, Di Megileh, long beloved by Israeli and New York audiences for its catchy songs, sparkling humor, political satire and the tale of star-crossed lovers. Performances will be given at the JCC East Bay on March 6 & 8 at 8 pm, March 9 at 2 pm, and Monday March 10 at 1 pm.

The 99-Year Old National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene has launched its first ever crowdsourcing campaign. Hosted on Indiegogo, the purpose of this fundraising enterprise is to fund a new educational initiative in bringing students to its upcoming musical the critically-acclaimed production of THE MEGILE OF ITZIK MANGER, a circus-themed retelling of the Book of Esther returning to Baruch Performing Arts Center for two weeks only, March 2 - 16, just in time for Purim.

The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene's hit musical based on the 1975 Academy-Award-nominated film Lies My Father Told Me adapted from the works of Ted Allan will end its highly acclaimed run Sunday, December 15.
