Female audiences have reason to rejoice in Northern Virginia this February with the regional premiere of the NextStop Theatre Company's production of "Love, Loss, and What I Wore." This show, from the writers of "Sleepless in Seattle," "You've Got Mail," and "When Harry Met Sally," brings the power of women together to share their stories through fashion.

Proving that a great show is always in fashion, Love, Loss and What I Wore is a play written by Nora and Delia Ephron based on the 1995 book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. With its intimate collection of monologues, the show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and poignant stories that all women can relate to. Directed by Karen Carpenter, the actresses sit side-by-side with script in-hand, deftly guiding the audience through an evening if humor, nostalgia and, of course, fashion.

Two Muses Theatre presents Love, Loss and What I Wore by famous screenwriter sisters, Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron. The show will be performed with a unique cast each weekend, headed up by a different local celebrity, May 30 through June 15. In conjunction with this production, Two Muses Theatre is partnering with Closet NV to raise clothing donations for Dress for Success, a worldwide organization, whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire to help them thrive in work and in life.

First Folio Theatre, known for presenting acclaimed musicals, plays and classic and reimagined works of Shakespeare to the Chicagoland stage, announces its 2014-2015 season. The season begins with the World Premiere of the riveting drama THE GRAVEDIGGER, which previews October 1, opens October 4 and runs through November 2, 2014. Neil Simon's whimsical comedy LAUGHTER ON THE 23RD FLOOR previews January 28, opens January 31 and runs through March 1, 2015; Nora Ephron's poignant play LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE previews March 25, opens March 28 and runs through April 26, 2014; and Shakespeare's masterpiece THE WINTER'S TALE, First Folio Theatre's annual Shakespeare Under the Stars production, previews July 8, opens July 11, and runs through August 9.

City Circle Acting Company of Coralville will present Nora and Delia Ephron's play Love, Loss and What I Wore on February 14-16 at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts. Performances are tonight and tomorrow, February 14 and 15 at 7:30 pm and February 16 at 2:00 pm. The show is directed by Meg Dobbs. Set design and decoration is by The Luxe Zone of Coralville.

Love, Loss, and What I Wore was awarded the 2010 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience, and Trustus Theatre is guaranteeing patrons a distinctive production as the show makes its Midlands premiere in the Richard and Debbie Cohn Trustus Side Door Theatre. This piece by Nora and Delia Ephron features five actresses exploring women's clothing as well as the heart, soul, and recollections that are sewn into the clothes we wear throughout our lives. This first show of 2014 is under the direction of Trustus Managing Director Larry Hembree, and opens in the Trustus Side Door Theatre tonight, January 3rd at 8:00pm.
