Before Baltimore lights the Washington Monument for the holidays on December 6th, celebrate a lighting of a different sort with Everyman Theatre! On Wednesday, December 5th at 5:30 PM, Everyman Theatre will light the marquee at its brand new, state-of-the-art home on Fayette Street for the very first time.

On Saturday, December 8th, Everyman Theatre will be hosting a "Wrap Party" to say good-bye to its home of 18 years on Charles Street. The theatre company will be inviting subscribers, volunteers, board members, and more to visit the Charles Street location for one final time before the new location on Fayette Street officially opens to the public in January, 2013. The Open House-style party will occur from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Everyman Theatre has announced that it will move into its new home on Fayette Street during the week of November 19, 2012. The administrative offices will be closed during this week in order to facilitate the move and then celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Moving trucks will arrive at the Charles Street location at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 20th.

Everyman Theatre has announced the addition of Beth Hylton to its esteemed Resident Acting Company. Ms. Hylton joins ten other noted actors in Everyman's Resident Acting Company. Everyman Theatre draws on its Resident Company of professional actors when casting for productions each season. The Resident Company establishes a special intensity born of working together season after season to create vivid, dynamic, and layered relationships on stage.

Everyman Theatre has announced the election of two new Vice Presidents to its Board of Directors. Susan W. Flanigan and W. Bryan Rakes will both assume the title of Vice President for the theatre company's board. The new appointments ensure Everyman will continue to benefit from diversity of experience and opinions.

Everyman Theatre will be the recipient of the prestigious "Downtown Baltimore Award" from the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. The award will be presented to the theatre company on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore's 2012 Annual Meeting. Everyman Theatre has announced a new series of Master Classes for the fall called "The Actor's Body." Designed for aspiring and professional actors, the series of three classes focuses on different movement techniques for the stage. Everyman Theatre has announced the directors attached to each of its six productions in the 2012/13 season. Founding Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi will helm two productions during the landmark season, including August: Osage County, which will be the first production at Everyman's new location on Fayette Street in January, 2013. The season will include two productions at the theatre's current location on Charles Street, followed by four productions at the new location on Fayette Street.

Favorite Everyman Theatre Company Member, Vivienne Shub, and Director of Development Cathy Wagner received honors from Towson University during commencement exercises at the end of the Spring 2012 semester. Ms. Wagner and Ms. Shub were presented with awards celebrating their dedication to theatre. Resident Company Member Vivienne Shub was honored with an honorary degree during the University's Graduation Ceremony today, May 25th. She was given an Honorary Bachelor of Arts. Now in her sixth decade as a professional actor, Ms. Shub has been celebrated as one of the region's most respected performing artists. She taught part-time at Towson for more than 20 years.
