Starz announced today it has picked up a second season of its deity-driven, critically-acclaimed original series AMERICAN GODS, produced by FremantleMedia North America (FMNA), following its premiere on STARZ on April 30, which has garnered more than 5 million multiplatform viewers to-date and growing.*

Starz announced today that the highly-anticipated eight-episode first season of FremantleMedia North America produced STARZ Original Series AMERICAN GODS, adapted from Neil Gaiman's acclaimed contemporary fantasy novel, will make its network premiere on Sunday, April 30th at 9PM ET/PT.

THE REAL JESUS OF NAZARETH, a new four-part series, will premiere on Easter Sunday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Smithsonian Channel.

Babak Anvari's psychological thriller UNDER THE SHADOW has been selected as the United Kingdom's Foreign Language Academy Award entry for 2016.
