GROUNDLINGS RED LIGHT DISTRICT, most assuredly continues The Groundling's well-earned reputation of being one of the funniest improvisational and sketch comedy troupes in Los Angeles, if not the entire United States. Ably directed by Karen Maruyama, the evening features the talented Groundling members Mikey Day, Allison Dunbar, Andrew Friedman, Kevin Kirkpatrick, and Michael Naughton.

The Hollywood Arts Council presented their 28th Annual Charlie Awards Luncheon in theBlossom Room of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, home of the first Academy Awards ceremony, at a Sold Out event on Friday, April 25, 2014. Shauna McClure, Executive Director of the Hollywood Arts Council said: "This was the record breaking year of all time in the Hollywood Arts Council's 36-year history. We raised $110,000 at this year's luncheon. Our Online Auction is still open atwww.biddingforgood.com/hollywoodartscouncil. The auction items include one-of-a-kind items, tickets to shows, art and the like. Bidding will close at 12-Midnight on Wednesday, April 30, 2014."

From October 23 to November 16, both sides will have their say at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse with Cape May Stage's production of Lee Blessing's A Walk in the Woods. Two arms deal negotiators - one an idealistic American newcomer, the other a cynical Russian veteran - meet in the woods after long frustrating hours at the bargaining table in informal conversation, covering a variety of topics. In its depiction of these two men working towards a mutually acceptable deal, this Pulitzer Prize-nominated drama is filled with unexpected humor and extraordinary humanity.

Disney's 'Wreck-It Ralph' won the Best Animated Feature honor at the 40 th Annual Annie Awards held Saturday, February 2 at UCLA's Royce Hall. This year's expanded list of categories topped 30, honoring many more nominees and team entries as in years past. New to the awards this year was the addition of the Best Student Film.
