The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) has announced that it will dedicate its annual fundraising event to the Creative Arts Team (CAT) Youth Theatre. The song and dance filled evening featuring over a dozen Broadway artists will take place on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the Lower East Side's cultural landmark for more than 35 years and will be hosted by Broadway Veteran Colin Cunliffe (Pippin, Addams Family, Cry-Baby).

As Riverside's celebrated 40th Anniversary Season continues, the full cast of the theatre's premier production of South Pacific is complete and joins the previously announced casting of Opera star David Pittsinger as Emile de Becque. South Pacific performs on the Stark Stage from February 18 - March 9, 2014 and is sponsored by our Patron Producers.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. Tonight, December 19th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate the holidays with an all-star concert event. Paige Davis (Chicago, Boeing Boeing, TLC's Trading Spaces) is set to co-host the event.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Popjam Productions present the North American premiere of MOTHER, WIFE AND THE COMPLICATED LIFE - a musical comedy that tells the truth about marriage and motherhood - with book and lyrics by Australian singer, songwriter and reality TV star Amity Dry, music by Amity Dry and Mark Simeon Ferguson and directed by Hilary Adams. Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of At This Performance… to be held tonight, April 7th at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street at 7 PM.

The new American musical Hands on a Hardbody just celebrated opening night last night, March 21, at Broadway's Brooks AtkinsonTheatre (256 West 47th Street). The cast and creative team gathered at the Roseland Ballroom with their real-life counterparts from the documentary on which the musical is based. BroadwayWorld was there for all of the opening festivities and you can check out photos from the after party below!

The Tokens are the doo-wop-style vocal group from Brooklyn, New York that is known best for it's chart-soaring #1 single, 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight.' The Tokens members Mitch Margo, Phil Margo and Noah Margo have penned a new musical comedy titled, "Oh, My Goddess." The New York City reading will be presented Friday, October 26th.

Overall, Stages Repertory Theatre does a great job with their production of Next to Normal. This is a must see production of a must see show.

Hockadoo! The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS will continue to blow the roof off of theatres across the country into the 2012 -2013 season. The season will kick off on September 11th in Portland, OR at the Keller Auditorium, and a return engagement is scheduled in the city where it all began - Memphis, TN at the Orpheum Theatre. On Wednesday, March 14th MEMPHIS celebrated its' 1,000th performance on Broadway where it continues to bring audiences to their feet on a daily basis.

MEMPHIS, the 2010 Tony Award winner for Best Musical will be presented by the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts for two weeks, through March 25, as part of the Ordway's 2011-2012 Theater Season.
