The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 37th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards at a special ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.

More than 400 guests joined Olympians and stars of stage and screen to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students at the annual Point Honors gala the landmark New York Public Library last night. The evening celebrated the accomplishments of Point Foundation's (Point), higher education scholarship recipients. More than $500,000 was raised for Point, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit.

Point Foundation will present five-time Olympic medalist Greg Louganis with the Point Legend Award, which recognizes an individual who has achieved greatness in their professional career and unapologetically supported the LGBTQ community. In addition to the previously announced appearance from the cast of BRIGHT STAR, BroadwayWorld exclusively reported that Tony winner Lena Hall will perform at this evening's special event.

Point Foundation will present five-time Olympic medalist Greg Louganis with the Point Legend Award, which recognizes an individual who has achieved greatness in their professional career and unapologetically supported the LGBTQ community. The award will be presented to Louganis at the landmark New York Public Library April 11. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. BroadwayWorld has just learned that Tony winner Lena Hall will perform at the special event.

Wheaties announced today that it will honor three world-class champions Janet Evans, Greg Louganis and Edwin Moses with exclusive box covers coming out this May. The iconic swimmer, diver and track star will each have their own boxes in-store as Wheaties looks back to honor these gold medalists with their first Wheaties feature.
