Last night, Friday, November 9th, was beginning of a special engagement of Giselle Wolf Journeys: A Celebration at the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, NYC. The three performances are at 7:00 pm and they continue next Wednesday, November 14th; and Thursday, November 15th. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY opened its Winter 2012 season with the return of Lucie Arnaz in a show based on her new CD 'Latin Roots.' In an eclectic celebration of her musical heritage, Arnaz playfully wended her way through pop south of the border sounds, enduring American standards, enhanced with a Brazilian accent or basted by a Bossa Nova beat and she took on some of the fiery Latin classics of her father, Desi Arnaz. The Colony's current production, Celadine, a bawdy comedy set in 17th century London seems the perfect complement to this delightful space. The first thing one notices upon taking your seat is the richness and intricate detail of Stephen Gifford's scenic design. Grainy woods, antique lighting fixtures and décor, really give an authentic feel to this 17th century tavern in which the show takes place. It demonstrates a tremendous amount of pride, attention, and care invested into the feel of this production. The costumes of designer A. Jeffrey Schoenberg are equally as elaborate.

Rubicon International Theatre Festival will kick off their preview season with an opening ceremony hosted by Ed Begley Jr.

The Actors Fund kicked off its third year of intimate Musical Mondays celebrations Monday night in the lobby of Hollywood's Pantages Theatre as Broadway composer and musical director Ron Abel took center stage joined by a handful of all-star friends...

The Actors Fund concert series entitled Musical Mondays, a series of Cabaret events in the lobby of the historic Pantages Theatre, will return this year. Produced by John Bowab and Martin Wiviott, all shows include pre-show cocktail reception at 7:30 pm and post-show dessert reception with the artists. On Monday March 24, the series kicks off with a tribute to Ron Abel. Scheduled to appear are Lucie Arnaz, Loretta Devine, Joely Fisher, Joey Gian, Marsha Kramer, Wayne Moore, Valarie Pettiford, Linda Purl and Giselle Wolf.
