Poet Voice Sucks, a funny poetry series featuring humorous poetry performed by writers, comedians, and actors, returns for its fourth edition at the Broadway Comedy Club on December 18th.

BAM will gather audiences and communities together for a thrilling range of performances in its winter-spring 2023 season.

Performer/playwright Valerie David of New York City returns to the Grange Hall Cultural Center on Sunday, December 11, 2022 @ 3 pm performing in her award-winning solo show, Baggage From BaghDAD: Becoming My Father's Daughter, as well as being GHCC's 2022 Artist-In-Residence recipient for the second time.

Cocoon, an interactive new play written and directed by Kotryna Gesait, will make its U.S. debut this fall, November 16th – December 10th at The Gene Frankel Theatre after seasons of sold-out performances at Australia’s various Fringe Festivals including, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Fringe, Midsumma Festival and Wynnum Fringe 2018 – 2022.

A serial killer's backstory always seems to fascinate people more so than that of their prey. But what is it about these vicious murderers that inspires works of art being written about them? That question popped into my head when I heard about the West Coast premiere of Cyndy A. Marion's play Broken Story, which was inspired by the murder of writer Susan Berman and her close relationship with serial killer Robert Durst. I knew I wanted to find out what inspired Cyndy to create the play and how she conducted her research.

The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre has announced the cast and creative team of Isaac Gómez’s world premiere What-A-Christmas! The play is directed by KJ Sanchez (Quixote Nuevo) and runs December 2 – December 24, 2022 in the Neuhaus Theatre.

Anthony M. Laura’s new play The Girl with the Red Hair will play The Gene Frankel Theatre in Manhattan. Anthony directs the production which features a diverse predominantly female cast of nine and tackles tough issues such as loneliness, abuse, institutionalization and sexuality in all forms.

Tickets are now on sale for the West Coast Premiere of Broken Story by Cyndy A. Marion (You are Perfect at The Actors Company), directed by Tamara Rappart (USC New Works Festival; Playwrights’ Arena New Pages Lab). The production will be presented by New York City’s White Horse Theater Company in association with 134 West at The Sherry Theater.

A filmed version of Christine Stoddard's award-winning play 'Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares' is now available for streaming on Vimeo On Demand.

An excerpt of the movement from Christine Stoddard's play 'Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares,' as devised by movement director Fiamma Piacentini for the Gene Frankel Theatre run directed by the playwright, will be presented at the 2022 Chashama Fest in Pine Plains, New York on October 1st.

Poet Voice Sucks is a comedic funny poetry series co-hosted and co-produced by Christine Stoddard and Jess Appel at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City for Quail Bell Press & Productions. The next event will take place on September 25th.

Christine Stoddard's play 'My Favorite Sex Toy' returns to the Broadway Comedy Club on October 2nd. The play will also run at the Greenwich Village Comedy Club, where it was set to premiere last April, on October 3rd. The play will once again star Amanda Andrews and Jess Appel, but this time under the direction of Fiamma Piacentini. The burlesque dancers Rita Wink and Madame Brassiere will serve as the opening act at BCC and GVCC respectively.

Mental health takes center stage in Anthony M. Laura's new play The Girl with the Red Hair which will play The Gene Frankel Theatre in Manhattan. The production runs November 3 - 12 with opening night slated for November 3.

New York City’s White Horse Theater Company in association with 134 West will present the West Coast Premiere of Broken Story by playwright Cyndy A. Marion, directed by Tamara Ruppart, at The Sherry Theater November 4-27.

An excerpt of Christine Stoddard's award-winning play 'Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares' is coming to Arts On Site, a black box theater on St. Mark's Place in New York City on Oct. 21 and 22, 2022. Act I of this two-act play will be performed at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. each night for a total of four performances.
