Ron OJ Parson and David Alan Grier, friends and contemporaries, on stage, in conversation, promises to be full of insights, laughs and an insider's perspective of the world of theatre, film and television from two of its most successful professionals. AN EVENING WITH RON OJ PARSON will take place on Monday, November 17 at 7:30 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 11, 2014 honoring the life and work of former Marriott Theatre Artistic Director Dyanne Kathleen Earley. The event will be held at Marriott's Lincolnshire Resort, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL from 6:30 to 10 PM. A brief performance featuring Musical Director Kevin Stites, singers Kevin Earley, Dave Earley, Felicia Fields, and Alene Robertson, and speakers from Dyanne's personal and professional life will begin at 7:30 PM.

Tony-Nominated Director Randal Myler and multi-talented Music Director Dan Wheetman return to Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC) to create a new vision for Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn after setting the bar high with Hank Williams: Lost Highway last spring and John Denver Holiday Concert in 2012. Returning to the roots of Mark Twain's classic American folktale, this production of Big River focuses on the talent and voices of the cast as they each become storytellers.

Court Theatre announces the extension of Seven Guitars written by August Wilson, and directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson. The production will now run through Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue. Tickets for the week-long extension are now on sale.

Celebrating the most romantic night of the year, powerhouse songstress Felicia P. Fields will perform her all new show, Mess Around & Fall in Love, on Thursday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Rd. Filled with sassy hits like "I Got It Bad (And That Ain't Good)", "Women Be Wise", "You Can Have My Husband But Don't Mess With My Man", and "I Got My Mojo Workin', Mess Around & Fall in Love brings entertainment to a new level and will have the audience singing and dancing in their seats for the entire 75-minute program. Dinner theater packages are available for $50 per person and performance only tickets are available for $35.

Rounding out the Marriott Theatre's 2012 season, MY ONE AND ONLY features an incomparable Gershwin score and thrilling dance. This captivating musical romance opens tomorrow, Wednesday, November 14 and runs through January 6 at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. For her all-new 10th anniversary production, Taylor has engaged community partners and used workshops to explore and deepen the spoken word, dance and music elements in Crowns.
