Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken's stage version of the 1996 Disney animated musical is expected to be generally available for regional productions next year.

Due to high demand for tickets, a second and final extension week has been added for War Paint, a new musical starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as cosmetics titans Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, respectively.

Ciara Renee of the CW's Legends of Tomorrow and Alan Menken/Stephen Schwartz's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and A.J. Shively of Bright Star will join the cast of MuseMatch VII: Songs for Sophia, an evening that seeks to answer the question, 'What happens when 15 composers go on a blind date with 15 singers?,' will be presented Saturday June 18th, 2016 , at 11:30 PM at 54 Below.  Produced by Bill Coyne and Ariel Dobshinsky, all proceeds will benefit Sophia Maglione, an 8-year old girl who is fighting her second bout of Medulloblastoma.

Goodman Theatre announces the full company for War Paint, a new musical starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as cosmetics titans Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, respectively. As previously announced, John Dossett portrays Tommy Lewis, Miss Arden's husband and chief marketing manager, and Douglas Sills portrays Harry Fleming, Madame Rubinstein's clubby confidante and faithful ally. Completing the cast of the world premiere production are Mary Ernster, Leslie Donna Flesner,David Girolmo, Joanna Glushak, Chris Hoch, Mary Claire King, Steffanie Leigh, Erik Liberman, Barbara Marineau, Stephanie Jae Park and Angel Reda.

On Monday, February 29, Villain: DeBlanks SPACE HOLE! made its West Coast premiere at Rockwell Table & Stage in LA, benefitting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The hilarious, one-night performance starred Nicole Parker, Barrett Foa, Mary Birdsong, Tom Lenk, Gabrielle Ruiz & Greg Ainsworth, and the special media guest was Tom Perumean of KABC-LA. The highly anticipated Studio Cast Recording of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the only stage collaboration from two masters of the American musical, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, debuted in the top spot on Billboard's Cast Albums chart. The album, available from Ghostlight Records, is also the 14th bestselling current album overall for the week and number 47 on the Billboard Top 200.  Digitally, the recording soared to number 5 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in its first day and was number 9 on Billboard's Current Digital Albums chart for its first week.

Actor Erik Liberman will appear as 'Daniel Lebenstrom' in tonight's episode of A&E's crime drama, UNFORGETTABLE.
