Award-winning Bayonne, NJ-based actor Dan Gregory is this week's special guest on New York City-based actor and cabaret star Stephen S. Miller's 'The Mama Rose Show,' on which Gregory revealed exclusively that he has been cast in the lead role in the horror film 'Cult of Blood' that is set to start production in spring 2021.

TERROR TALK, TERROR TV's first original project, will begin airing monthly specials as of Friday, the 13th of March 2020. Tense thriller Lore will be released by Indican Pictures this month. Lore has been heavily influenced by the mythos surrounding the Lakota Tribe. In the story, a missing boy encounters an ancient Native American legend. This evil legend hampers the search party and stalks a remote western town. Directed by both Christian Larsen and Brock Manwill, Lore stars: stage actress Lyndsey Lantz, Max Lesser ('My Best Friend's Death'), Sean Wei Mah (How the Fiddle Flows) and Oscar nominated actor Eric Roberts. All of these filmmakers will be supporting the release of Lore, throughout January.

At age 18, Dorothy Stratten left her job at a Dairy Queen and moved to Hollywood, soon becoming famous as the 1980 Playboy ”Playmate of the Year.” In Los Angeles, Dorothy captivated the attention of legendary Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner, who had big plans for her in the Playboy empire, and powerful movie director Peter Bogdanovich, who cast her in a breakthrough role in his film “They All Laughed,” alongside iconic actors Audrey Hepburn, John Ritter and Ben Gazzara. But Paul Snider, who discovered Dorothy at the Dairy Queen and married her after they moved to Hollywood, grappled with jealousy and anger when she filed for divorce, viewing her as his ticket to success. Dorothy's modeling and acting career came to a tragic end when Paul shot and killed her before he died by suicide. Now, almost 40 years after Dorothy's death, a two-hour “20/20” takes a look at her life and career through the eyes of those who knew her best and explores what drove Paul to murder. “20/20” airs Friday, Oct. 18 (9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.

Tickets are now on sale for Playhouse on Park's Comedy Night Series, beginning on October 19 at 8pm. Missy Hall and Sean Morton will co-headline.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mae Whitman and Eric Roberts are set to join the second season of KIDDING on Showtime. The two will guest star on Jim Carrey's series, which is set to return this fall.

The Inaugural Palm Springs International Comedy Festival www.palmspringscomedyfest.com held in November has announced its winners. Participants competed from all over the world in stand up and film categories, representing Japan, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, Netherlands, China, France, Canada, the U.S. and more. The event took place over two days on Nov 17 and 18, 2018 at Hotel Zoso that kicked off with a star-studded red carpet celebrity dinner gala on Nov 10, where Kathy Griffin was presented with the 'PSICF Comedian of the Year Award.' Actress Illeana Douglas was awarded the 'Pioneer in Comedy Award,' while the comedy of summer 2018, Paramount's 'Book Club' directed by Bill Holderman and produced by Holderman and Erin Simms and starring Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Diane Keaton and Mary Steenburgen, received the prestigious 'Stanley Kramer Mad World Comedy Award.'

After a sold out run last fall, the recent revival of The Diary of Anne Frank, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett and newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman ('97 Broadway version) will return for a limited engagement previewing January 11, 2019.
