The new musical CAGNEY, with book by Peter Colley and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern, received its New York premiere at The York Theatre Company last spring, where it played a limited five-week, sold-out engagement.  Producer Riki Kane Larimer (Fiddler on the Roof, Tappin' Thru Life, On The Town, Gigi)has announced the Off-Broadway transfer of The York Theatre Company's acclaimed production of the new musical, Cagney with book by Peter Colley (The Donnelly) and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern (Fame, First Wives Club).  Cagney received its New York premiere at The York Theatre Company, last spring, where it played a limited five-week sold out engagement.  This new updated, expanded and revised version will begin performances begin on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. for an open-ended engagement at The Westside Theatre - Upstairs (407 West 43rd Street).  Opening Night is set for Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.

The Guide to Being Single will be presented as a part of The New York Musical Theatre Festival's Developmental Reading Series on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 at 4 and 7:30 PM and on Saturday, July 11th, 2015 at 8:30 PM. The reading will be held at The Studio Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036).

The York Theatre Company's 45th Anniversary Season comes to a close today, June 21, 2015 with the new musical, Cagney, with book by Peter Colley and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern. 

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, in association with Arnold Mittelman and The National Jewish Theater Foundation, will present the world premiere of Rothschild & Sons, with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and book bySherman Yellen. Jeffrey B. Moss is set to direct. Broadway veteran Robert Cuccioli will star as Mayer Rothschild. Additional casting will be announced shortly.
