Following the release of their new album Sonic Citadel, legendary duo Lightning Bolt have announced a tour throughout the US west coast, including a set at Eric Andre's Block Party. Ahead of the shows, Lightning Bolt are reissuing two of their lauded albums, Ride The Skies and Hypermagic Mountain in special deluxe editions.

Today, Quibi announced RAPPER WARRIOR NINJA a new series hosted by actor, comedian and musician Eric Andre. The series is co-created and executive produced by Eric Andre and Kitao Sakurai.

The super-sized second annual Adult Swim Festival will be held next week, November 15 and 16, at the stunning Banc of California Stadium in Downtown Los Angeles. In addition to previously announced musical acts such Dethklok, Jamie xx, Vince Staples, Captain Murphy and Tierra Whack, 2 Chainz and Rapsody have also been added to the music lineup. Casting Society of America (CSA) today announced the television and theatre nominees for the 35th Artios Awards, which honor the contribution of Casting Directors to film, television and theatre. The winners will be revealed on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in ceremonies in Los Angeles, New York City and London. Comedian, actor and writer Ron Funches will serve as host for the Los Angeles event.

Disney's The Lion King crossed the billion-dollar mark after less than three weeks in theaters this past weekend, according to Variety.

Filmmakers, talent and special guests celebrated Disney's “The Lion King” tonight in Hollywood. The movie, which opens on July 19, 2019, welcomes beloved characters back to the big screen in a whole new way.

Beyonce will be releasing a new album titled, 'The Lion King: The Gift' which will feature an array of songs inspired by the film, performed by African artists.
