Disney Channel has ordered a second season of the high-flying animated series 'Star Wars Resistance' for a fall 2019 premiere. The series follows Kazuda Xiono ('Kaz'), a young pilot recruited by the Resistance for a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. Season one continues on SUNDAY, JAN. 13 (10:00-10:30 p.m. EST/PST), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. The mid-season one trailer for 'Star Wars Resistance,' featuring a first look at a major villain from 'The Force Awakens,' was released today on the Star Wars YouTube page.

Eko, the trailblazing leader in interactive video entertainment and storytelling, announces Timeline, a digital adventure series produced by Will Gluck's Olive Bridge Entertainment and developed in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Created and written by two-time Blacklist screenwriter Neal Dusedau, executive produced by Scott S. Kramer for Olive Bridge, and directed entirely by Kimmy Gatewood (GLOW), the series will consist of four, 15-minute episodes that invite viewers to influence and experience the storyline through Eko's patented, next-generation interactive streaming technology. Timeline, launching in 2019, was developed under the auspices of a strategic joint venture between Walmart and Eko, dedicated to original, interactive video entertainment.

RYAN HANSEN SOLVES CRIMES ON TELEVISION*,  a meta comedy skewering Hollywood and police procedurals, returns for Season 2 on January 30, 2019 on YouTube Premium.  The show stars Hansen, as a ridiculous version of himself, who joins an LAPD task force partnering actors with homicide detectives so they can use their “actor skills” to help solve murders. In Season 2, Ryan's back, but after Detective Mathers, Ryan's partner from the first season (Samira Wiley), gets sidelined, rogue cop Vince Vincente (Avon Barksdale Wood Harris) steps in as Ryan's new partner. Together the two will have to buddy up to solve an array of puzzling crimes.

Vulture today announced the lineup for its second annual Vulture Festival Los Angeles Presented by AT&T, a weekend of high-profile events bringing the entertainment site to life, and an expansion of the pop-culture extravaganza that has taken place in New York City for the last five years. Vulture Festival Los Angeles's lineup includes actors in conversation, exclusive screenings, cast reunions, live podcasts, a comedy show, table reads, a private museum tour, and more, taking place November 17–18, primarily at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles, with select events at other venues. We are bringing back the shag carpet and the skinny microphone for some summertime “Match Game” BLANK!, as Season 3 continues on THURSDAY, JUNE 21 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT). “Match Game” will once again be hosted by Emmy®- and Golden Globe® Award-winning actor Alec Baldwin and is produced by FremantleMedia North America (FMNA). The hilarious panel game features two contestants as they attempt to match the answers of six celebrities in a game of fill-in-the-missing-blank. Baldwin received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Host in 2017.

Kent Alterman, President of Comedy Central announced today that the Emmy® Award-winning Comedy Central series, Drunk History, has been renewed for a sixth season with sixteen episodes. Created for television by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, Drunk History is produced by Central Productions and executive produced by Waters and Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Owen Burke. Ian Friedman and Daniel Wolfberg are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central. The fifth season currently airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
